The Story of how my blog started

Around the time I started my YouTube channel I decided I wanted to do video reviews. After attempting quite a few I realized reviewing books on camera just wasn’t my thing. I decided then to try my hand at written reviews, grade school style lol. After attempting quite a few I realized I wasn’t so bad and decided maybe a blog was more my speed for book reviews. I signed up for Netgalley got my first approval, and here I am (quite backed up on review books lol). So yes I started my blog strictly for book reviews, and it is now becoming a place of bookish memes, book tags, and links to my YouTube videos. 🙂

My Advice to new bloggers:

1. Get to know other bloggers! I think this is important because one, you can make so many new friends with similar interests as you which is always fun. And two us bloggers are all in the same boat at first, we all have questions that others can help with and just want a happy space to be us.

2. Be Unapologetically you! This is your blog, your space, to do what you want. It always nice to take advice from others, but don’t base all your blog posts around what they say. People who follow you genuinely want to support you and what you write about!

I tag:

15 is a lot of other blogs to tag, so I want to apologize in advance if you have already done this tag and I’ve tagged you. (Also I’m doing this post extremely in advance due to readathons and vacation.)

  1. Wonderful post and thank you for the advice. I’m still a bit of a newbie blogger myself (my book blog’s 3 months now, is that still new lol?) and, likewise, I began my blog as a way to share my thoughts about the books that I was reading. As I began talking with others throughout the book community my blog quickly expanded to include weekly memes, tags, and nomination posts. I’ve had so much fun so far and am so happy that I became a part of the book blogging community.
I look forward to more of your posts in the future… Happy Blogging (and reading)! 🙂

  2. Love your advice! I feel like sometimes I can be worried when I have an unpopular opinion or when posting a review but it’s true that your blog is your opinions so no one should be worried about their thoughts on a book

  3. Hey
Thank you for taking the time to step on over to Love Relaished Ink. It’s wonderful to have your whimsical soul as a new companion on my long and winding road.
From what I have seen of your blog so far, I’ve no doubt you are already finding writing a totally engaging and personally fulfilling experience. I hope the pleasurable company of words will always flow and follow you as you flow following the flow of your flowing path flowing into the wide blue yonder, and flow onwards towards the adventures that follow the flow beyond that…
Best wishes. Take care always in all ways for always.
