LIEBSTER AWARD

What is the Liebster Award?

“Liebster” is a German word meaning beloved, dearest, sweetheart, or darling.
For bloggers, the Liebster Award is an online recognition given by other bloggers to new bloggers for enjoying or appreciating their work. It highlights up and coming blogs.
Once nominated, a blogger is asked to answer 11 questions provided by the nominating blogger. They are then expected to nominate 11 other favourite new bloggers and come up with a list of 11 new questions for those nominees.

The rules
1. Acknowledge the blog who nominated you and display the award.
2. Answer the 11 questions the blogger gives you.

  1. I love how you’ve made Stephen King a genre in and of himself 😛 I agree with you, though. He has so, so, so many books, plus he has such a distinct, twisted way of writing stories! What’s your favorite King book? Have you seen the new IT movie yet?

  2. Loving the Stephen King appreciation is this post. I really need to read more Stephen King (so far I’ve only read The Shining and two of his short story collections, but I loved them all.) Where would you recommend I start?

      1. The only one I’d read that wouldn’t give me nightmares would be 11/22/63. I have to be careful with horror books or I have really bad nightmares.

  3. Honestly, Stephen King is more or less his own genre. Have you seen his X-Files episode? His style is so distinctive that it doesn’t translate well. (And I admit I haven’t actually read one of his books yet and still know what his stories feel like.)

  4. OMG! I’m totally catching up on Siesta Key RIGHT NOW! That is crazy! I totally agree that Stephen King is his own genre; his writing style is so unique. I’ve been reading The Stand off and on since June – it’s a behemoth, but I adore it and I’m excited to see what happens in the end! Love, Maggie
