MY THOUGHTS:

Straight from the beginning I was getting Veronica Mars vibes. I absolutely loved that show and it made me more excited to see what the author was going to do with the story. I love how complicated the story became and tried really hard to piece together how it was going to turn out, but since the book wasn’t predictable, I had a really hard time. I thought the author did a great job of piecing everything together in just the right way to make the story moe believable.

I thought Marisa was a great main character. She was a smart ass, sarcastic, and absolutely hilarious character. She really made the whole story come together perfectly. She had no filter and blurted out the first things to come to mind without thinking about the consequences, which made the story so much funnier in my opinion. I loved the friendship between Charlie and Marisa, it was real and true, which is hard to come by.

I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes a good contemporary book with a solid storyline. It had a bit of everything, love, mystery, fighting, and all that good stuff. It kept me entertained from beginning to end.
