GOODREADS SYNOPSIS:

Travel the world with this first-class puzzle treasury!

Where would you find the Spanish Steps? What’s the modern-day name for Byzantium? Where’s Wrigley Field? These and many other questions related to an international array of cultures are asked and answered in this treasury of fact-filled puzzles, which offer an entertaining and informative way to learn about different countries and famous cities all over the globe.

Geography and trivia buffs will find hours of amusement with these 100 word search puzzles. From Oslo to Athens to Hong Kong and beyond, the compilation visits 50 countries and 50 cities to discover the names of capitals, rivers, famous residents, landmarks, natural resources, flora and fauna, and many other points of interest. All subjects are listed and identified in a section above the letter grids, and complete solutions appear at the end of the book.

MY THOUGHTS:

I’m a huge fan of word search puzzles, and have been since I was young. I would see my mom and nana doing them and would pretend I could when I was super young. I’ve never had the chance to review and word search book before, so I jumped at the chance. I’m honestly not that great when it comes to geography so was excited to see how I would enjoy this take on the puzzles. I’m happy to say I absolutely enjoyed these and learned while I was at it. It was so cool to try and test my knowledge while playing a fun game of word search, such a unique take on an age old puzzle.
